Known as the Turquoise Coast, the sandy stretches in the region are among the best in the Mediterranean. The beautiful Çaliş beach is a particularly popular spot. Located just 5km from the city centre, it’s surrounded by hotels, pubs and eateries. For a more relaxed alternative, drive to Ölüdeniz, just south of Fethiye, and walk 30 minutes to the beach of the same name. This quiet, serene spot is well worth the trip.
The bay that Feithye is situated on is dotted with idyllic islands, accessible by boat and perfect for a day of complete relaxation. Şövalye Adası stands out from the others and was used as a set in the James Bond film, Skyfall.
