Plan your journey from Zurich Airport
Zurich Airport is located just a 20-minute drive north of central Zurich via the A51, making driving one of the quickest ways you can travel into the city. From here you can park up and get to know many of the sights on foot.
While Zurich may be known as a major financial and banking hub, it also has a thriving art scene, hip restaurants, engrossing museums and cool cafes. In the summer, the lake and river make for great swimming. Discover the old town and see some of Zurich’s top sights including the guild houses, ancient churches and Niederdorf promenade.
Zurich Airport is also well placed for other popular cities in Switzerland, such as Lucerne and Bern, and to top it off you are only an hour from the snow-capped peaks of Jungfraujoch in the Swiss Alps. With the flexibility of a rental car, once you have had your fill of Zurich, explore further. Slide behind the wheel of your hire car and leave the city behind in comfort.
