Tarazona

From your starting point at Zaragoza Train Station, it’s just under an hour by car (via the AP-68 and N/122) to Tarazona. Offering historic buildings, great food and a relaxed atmosphere, it’s the ideal place for those interested in gastronomy and sightseeing. The cathedral is not to be missed and reflects an unusual mix of gothic, Mudéjar and Renaissance influences.

What’s the best time of year to visit Zaragoza?

The summer months can be incredibly hot in this inland city. Spring is generally milder with warm temperatures which is perfect for enjoying outdoor activities in the region, such as hiking and sightseeing. Winter temperatures can fall to 5 degrees, with occasional rainfall, but the city offers Christmas markets and other festive celebrations.

Do I need winter tyres in Zaragoza?

There’s no legal requirement to drive with winter tyres in Zaragoza, but if you need them, many of our rental offices will have them available as an option.
