Toledo

Ávila
Lovely Ávila is just a 75-minute drive along the A-6 and AP-6. This walled city is one of Spain’s best-fortified towns, dating back to the 11th century. It’s also a UNESCO-listed city. The most popular highlight here is the Basilica de San Vicente, showcasing exemplary gothic architecture. This is just one of many churches in the town. In fact, Ávila has more Romanesque and gothic churches than any other destination of the same size in Spain.
Segovia
Drive to Segovia from Madrid on the A-6 and AP-6 in just over an hour. Overflowing with history, Segovia’s attractions include Roman aqueducts and gothic cathedrals. The Moorish Alcázar of Segovia, overlooking the city, is considered one of the finest medieval castles in Europe.
