Guadalest

Located around an hour’s drive north from Alicante, Guadalest is a charming mountain village with breathtaking scenery, cobbled streets, unique local shops and plenty of historic sites, including the remains of several castles.

Carved into the clifftops, Guadalest is often referred to as the ‘Eagle’s Nest’. Keep an eye out for the Peñon de La Alcalá – a whitewashed bell tower at the mountain’s edge. From Alicante Train Station, take a five-minute drive to the coast where the sparkling Mediterranean sea and many major sights await. The perfect way to find your bearings is to take a relaxing walk along the Explanada de España by the marina.
