Dinard Airport is only 5km outside of Dinard itself, and so the city is easily accessible by car, with all local attractions just a short drive away.

Parc de Port Breton is a beautiful outdoor space, which can be enjoyed by the whole family. It boasts an equestrian centre for horse riding, elaborate fountains, a children’s outdoor play centre, and a zoo with over 40 species of animals housed inside.

Take the D137 south and you’ll arrive in the mid-size town of Rennes in just under an hour. The town’s planetarium is very impressive, with a one-and-a-half-hour show dedicated to stars, galaxies, and space – something that children will love. If crêpes are your favourite sweet treat, you’re in luck, because there’s a whole street of crêperies on Rue St George - the perfect place to indulge after a day exploring the town.

Vannes

The medieval village in the city of Vannes is a real treat to explore. Here, an array of crêperies and boutique fashion shops sit within the ancient walls. The cobbled square in its centre is often used to stage costumed parades.
Be sure to sample the galettes here, which you can enjoy in a variety of forms – filled with seafood, meat, vegetables or fruit. Vannes is just under a two-hour drive south-west of Dinard.
