From the Zeebrugge Ferries terminal you’re just a 15-minute drive from Zeebrugge, which provides a selection of interesting landmarks to explore before heading off to central Bruges.

There’s a small beach and historic highlights include a Russian submarine and a former Belgian lightship. Many visitors also take a road trip from Zeebrugge to the nearby historic battlefields of World War II.

Just over an hour’s drive from the Zeebrugges Ferries terminal, via the E403, is the beautiful and historic city of Ypres. The memory of the Great War is kept alive here through a number of monuments and museums. The In Flanders Fields Museum offers a moving and balanced introduction to the history of World War I.
