Hiring a car is an easy way to explore the Caribbean island of St Thomas. Be aware that you’ll be driving on the left-hand side of the road as you leave the airport and cars on the island tend to be left-hand drive.  The main road network on the island is good but in the interior, mountainous areas you’ll find roads and tracks can be narrow and twisting but you are rewarded with great views across the island.
