Graskop
Graskop is a 45-minute drive from Kruger National Park via R535. Here you can easily access the gorgeous Drakensberg mountain range and the Blyde River Canyon. For unrivalled views of the area, stop at God’s Window viewpoint. Graskop is also a great place to try traditional food, like pancakes stuffed with mincemeat. White River
White River is around a 35-minute drive from Kruger National Park (via R538). This creative community is a place where artists congregate, with many finding inspiration in the surrounding Lowveld area. The small town’s scenery is one of the main attractions and it’s easy to spend an afternoon in one of the sidewalk cafes, or listening to some live music. While you’re here, head to the Casterbridge Centre, where you’ll find unlimited fine dining options and chocolatiers.
